The rewards of Villa Volunteers are many, but none are as great as knowing that you can help someone live with dignity and the quality of life that they deserve. Just a few hours of your time as a Villa Volunteer would make a lasting impact on the seniors at Villa Maria and help us carry out our mission of providing the highest level of compassionate care to the elderly. We offer flexible schedules for our volunteers so that you can give of your time and talents weekly, monthly or even periodically for special functions and programs.
 

Villa Volunteers can help by:
 

• Assisting with daily activities

• Providing companionship

• Teaching a resident how to use the computer

• Mending and sewing

• Welcoming visitors

• Providing clerical assistance

• Leading arts and crafts activities

• Accompanying residents to religious services

• Reading a book or the newspaper to residents

• Helping in the beauty salon and barber shop

• Taking residents out for fresh air

• Leading trivia groups

• Entertaining residents by singing or playing an instrument
